A sustainable, carbon neutral and zero waste city
Project Description
Masdar City is a development in Abu Dhabi by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC) which will be a sustainable, carbon neutral and zero waste city. The city will cover six million square meters within seven square kilometers of property. The development will be 100% reliant upon on-site renewable energy. The development commenced in 2007 and is due to be fully completed by 2020.
MIST 1B covers the second phase of the works known as Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. MIST is a graduate level science and engineering institution focuses on education and research in the core energy and sustainable themes of the Masdar Initiative.
Scope
CML were employed by RW Armstrong to provide the complete Commissioning Management package for Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, Public Health and Specialist Services.
