The Burj Khalifa Development air conditioning
Project Description
The Burj Khalifa Development air conditioning requirements are met through a district cooling reticulation.
The development is served by four operational district cooling plants (DCP 01, 02, 03 & 04) providing all together over 130,000 tons of cooling. The development is served via a site wide chiller water ring main and under normal load is served by all plants. During an emergency, if part of the ring or plant fails the system still has the capability of shutting down a section of the ring or a complete plant and still maintains cooling to the development via the BMS due to the built-in redundancy
