Queen Alia International Airport

Internation Airport in Jordan

Project Description

Queen Alia International Airport explores a vision of what the twenty-first century airport could be and offers an approach towards an ecologically sensitive architecture. The scheme allows the airport to grow by 6% per annum for the next twenty five years, increasing annual capacity from 3 million passengers to 12 million passengers by 2033. The project consists of a new terminal, piers and passenger boarding bridges. The construction is in two phases, phase I includes the terminal, part of the north and south piers and 4 passenger boarding bridges.
